Windermere High School Information

Uniform:

To be worn for classroom: 8:30am – 3:30pm & Special Occasions

  • Shirts – can be purchased at the school for $35.00
Boy's Uniform
  • Navy pants for grades 6-11 with blue shirt. Khaki pants for grade 12 and dark blue shirt.
  • No Jeans Material
  • No outside pockets
  • Must wear black belt
  • No earrings
  • Neat short hair cuts
  • One small to medium size chain
Girl's Uniform
  • Skirts made from uniform plaid with one and a half (1.5) inch waistband and one (1) inch pleats
  • skirt at least knee length
  • Blue Shirt
  • No hair weaving
  • One pair of small earrings
  • One small to medium size necklace
  • No nail polish
  • No lipstick, etc.
Shoes & Socks
  • Shoe color must be ALL BLACK
  • Low cut shoes
  • Can be buckled, laced, or tied
  • Must be closed in shoes
  • No tennis, canvas, sandals or thong type shoes in class
  • Socks may be white or blue (boys may also wear black socks)
  • ONLY white color t-shirts under blouse/shirt

Physical Education Uniform Requirements for Grades 6-12

The WHS Physical Education uniform, (t-shirt and pants) are to be purchased for $30.00 from the school. Physical Education uniforms are to be worn for practicing of all sports after school, and playing games against other schools.

Dormitory Students

Items to Bring: Dormitory students bring the following
  • Two single bed sheets, pillowcases, blanket, personal toiletries, (pillow if you wish).
  • Casual clothes-knee length shorts, no low cut or short sleeve blouses or t-shirts.
  • No bikini, no two piece swimsuits (where midriff shows)
  • No spaghetti strap tops, no tight jeans, no skirts, dresses, and tops
  • Bring church clothes for Sunday service
    • No tennis shoes: Boys in collar button shirts, dress shirts & pants
    • Girls should wear long skirts or dresses and modest blouses
Items to NOT Bring
  • Valuables such as jewelry, radios, headphones, tape recorders, walk mans, CD’s, cell phone, Discmans, fireworks, earrings for boys, political or zodiac symbols, PSP’s, IPOD’s, MP3 Players, PDA’s, or any electronics of any type.
